What does Hypno-Massage feel like?
Hypno-Massage is a multi-sensory treatment. It involves relaxation hands-on massage techniques, together with guided hypnotic suggestion which is always in line with your core values and choices, which will be established prior to treatment. Therapeutic hypnosis is very different to stage hypnotism, you will feel deeply relaxed, yet you are always in control and can wake whenever you wish.
Is it safe and are there any side-effects?
Hypno-Massage is a safe treatment if carried out by a registered, Hypnotherapist with massage certification. On occasion, clients can feel emotional as emotions become unblocked and released. This is a good thing and should be welcomed, as this leads to a rebalancing of the mind/body system. It usually doesn’t last very long, after which you may feel more relaxed, calm, and reconnected.
During the treatment, built up toxins are also released and need to be expelled from the body through the lymphatic system, so we always recommend drinking plenty of water to help this process along and push these free radicals out. As a result, you may notice that you need to go to the toilet more often. This is very normal, and shows you are clearing your body and making way for better health. We also advise on keeping yourself warm, avoiding alcohol and caffeine for at least 12 hours to aid hydration and help eliminate those nasty toxins. You may also experience light-headedness, tiredness, or a slight headache. These usually pass quickly and know that your therapist is there for you after your treatment and is always ready to advise and help you before you leave. Your comfort and care is always a priority.
